Coating Products for Market Segments Functionality and Performance

This presentation will explore differences in Graphic Arts Coatings Applications.

Here’s what you’ll learn:

1. Coating Products for different Market Segments including:

    • Wide Format

    • Digital

    • Flexographic and

    • Lithographic

2.  We’ll discuss their purposes of functionality and performance. 

    • What are the features and benefits? Resistance to fading, weathering, heat, and scuffing, etc. As well as chemical resistance, i.e. cleaners and sanitizers, alcohol, moisture, grease and oil. Prevention of antimicrobial growth, i.e. mold, mildew, fungus, bacteria.

    • How do they satisfy the needs of the customer? From Protection and Resistance Properties to pleasing aesthetic values, haptic and tactile feels to eye catching visual effects, coating performance enhances printed pieces for all market segments and customers.

About the Presenter: Robert Srnovrsnik is the National Product Manager-Graphic Arts Coatings with Prisco-Printers’ Service. He began my career in Graphic Arts Coating over 30 years ago with Algan, Inc. He has held positions in Manufacturing, Quality, R&D, and Field Technical Service.  In 2000 he was hired by Prisco, as the National Product Manager, to train and develop their sales and technical staff in an effort to increase market share in support of their plan to build and open a coatings manufacturing facility.  The facility opened for business in June 2002 and is located in Charlotte, NC.  My main responsibilities include sales and marketing, technical training and support, customer support and training, as well as ISO Coordinator.
