Develop Long-Term Internal Sales Dept. Education & Training Program

Having developed a long-term Sales Department Education & Training Program for the company I was a part-owner in, I can testify that opportunities to develop company performance improvement – every two weeks, for two hours each Monday (as but an example), can have a profound effect on revenue and profit growth, improved morale, and Teamwork between Production & Sales. Employees look forward to Education & Training – that improves their value, and that’s substantive.

Changing Market Conditions:
Buyers know less, but often expect more – and Sales Reps (internal & outside Reps) – plus Estimators & CSR’s receive too little ongoing Education & Training. Sales Departments are not taught how to use their company’s production & company’s technical talents – to assist customers’ many needs. Finally, most suppliers are not taught the importance of profiling their Differentiation – for targeting future Prospects. And Reps have difficulty getting Prospect appointments, and follow-up appointments.

Company Performance Benefits Expected:
Expect improved revenues, reduced spoilage, improved productivity, better Teamwork, improved SOP’s, improved morale, improved profitability – and value of the company.

Key Knowledge Areas Introduced:
Need for written procedures, improved target prospecting, improved internal and external courtesies, improved Request for Estimates, improved Quote Letters, activities that develop long-term customers, and effective Research activities and sources.

Unusual Instruction Features:
A systematic, relentless, substantive but enjoyable approach – reveals “who is willing to work – and wants to win.”

Fee: $3,500 (prorated over 4 mos.) Requires about 3 mos. to set up and go through the process – at least twice. We are heavily involved in 1st 30 days by Zoom, then we turn the process over to client key personnel. Subsequently by Zoom, we check-up by attending sessions on a continuing basis for 4 to 5 mos., and then as needed.
