Supplier “Customer Survey” of Customers
A major Customer Survey should be designed to provide feedback on many of customers’ perceptions of supplier performances, like perceived quality, on-time-delivery, pricing, promptness of Quotes, courtesy, accuracy of promptness of information in general, clarity, accuracy & promptness of invoicing, competence of phone service & phone systems, quality and accuracy of proofs, innovation, solving of problems, opportunities for additional business, etc.
• Changing Market Conditions:
We live in a fast-changing society, and customers’ expectations just a few years ago, can (and probably will) change. Suppliers need to know what’s most important (so that it does not change), what needs to be improved, and what isn’t occurring or offered – that’s important. Too many customers’ business falls off, before anyone notices. Survey feedback allows suppliers to “get ahead of the curve” of buyers’ expectations, and market change.
• Company Performance Benefits Expected:
Sometimes good employees are in the wrong position – for their talents and skills. Our Surveys are invisibly coded, which allows a Survey sponsor to receive invaluable information – for follow-up. Sometimes some part of company service needs to be “tweaked” – before damage is incurred, and important customers quietly bring in another supplier.
• Key Knowledge Areas Introduced:
How your company is performing relative to individual customer’s expectations – can be invaluable for understanding “pricing pressures.” Additionally, many suppliers have potential products or services they might add. A Customer Survey can provide

feedback of potential employees who may need additional training, or to be reassigned.
