The PICA Scanner is PICA’s flagship bimonthly newsletter, delivering member spotlights, event updates, industry insights, and more. First published in 1982, the Scanner has evolved over the decades—from its early days as a non-heatset web tabloid to the modern 8.5” x 11” full-color sheetfed offset (or digital) publication it is today.
Reaching nearly 1,000 printing industry professionals with each issue, the Scanner remains a cornerstone of PICA’s communications. Its color scheme changes each fiscal year (beginning July 1), and every edition is thoughtfully shaped by PICA staff, the editor, and the designer—always with members at the heart of the content.
